Update:
The recorded service can be viewed here:
The funeral will be held on Friday 19th February at St Mary’s Church, Worplesdon, at 12:00 (midday) where we will bring them together again after they were married there on 3rd June 1967, 53 years ago.
Mum and Dad will be cremated together, and their ashes buried at a later date at Stoughton Cemetery, very close to Caroline.
With concern for the health and well-being of everyone, attendees at the funeral will be very much restricted and is by invite only. However, we will be live streaming the funeral for all to pay their respects.
Go to this link to view the funeral which will go live when it starts at 12:00 (midday).
It will also be recorded so will be able to view it at your convenience after the service.
Remembrance
This special page of remembrance for Mum and Dad is a place where we can come together and share our thoughts, memories, testimonials and photos. In time, this will be a valuable keepsake for myself, Dawn, Mum & Dad’s beloved Grandchildren and the rest of the family.
Flowers and donations
Due to restrictions, we would ask you not to send flowers, Thankyou.
Instead, if you would like to, please feel free to make a donation on this page in Mum and Dad’s memory to ‘Meningitis Now’ (previously Meningitis Research), a charity so dear to their hearts.
Memorial
We understand that being unable to attend the funeral at this time will be particularly difficult. Mum and Dad meant so much to us all, so we understand many of you will want to pay your respects and honour them. So, as soon as we are able, Dawn and I plan to hold a special service of remembrance, so that we can gather together and celebrate their lives properly. As hard as it is to wait until the situation improves, we also feel that this time will provide us a chance to grieve their loss and make this occasion a truly memorable and joyous celebration of their lives together.
We are so sorry for your loss Dawn and Dan. We have very fond memories of your mum and dad and their friendship with our dear mum. May they rest and sleep in peace. x
Thank you for happy memories shared with Pat on Thursday mornings
Please feel free to share messages, memories and photos in memory of Pat and Pete.
