Our friendship with Pat and Pete goes back over 35 years since we moved to Guildford and joined St Peter’s Church. Pat and Pauline had the bond of their Christian Faith that was a cornerstone of a very close friendship. Pat’s faith in Jesus shone in her love and care for others, and because of her own personal bereavement she had a passion to help others such as in her hospital chaplaincy volunteering. Pat and Pete were generous, kind and supportive of others. For our son’s wedding Pete made an arch inside the church that Pat made into a beautiful floral display - great teamwork. We have been very honoured and blessed to have been counted as their friends. Paul and Pauline
